Just when I thought it was safe to look back in the water!
Something remarkable… a peppering, quite literally, of lots of white/yellow floating calcified looking particles. Some as tiny as cracked pepper, the largest like a currant.
All floating. Hard as cartilage and perhaps 15-20 large/distinct pieces with dozens more little particles around.
I have a picture of the largest of these spectacular objects. This fella was probably 4mm x 3mm x 2mm
What are they? I have no idea. But, I think I’m past caring. Considered opinion between myself and my partner comes up with a number of hypotheses.
- Calcified something-or-other
- Undigested/Petrified Dairy products
- Candle Wax (!)
- Mummified Chicken
- Moon-dust
- Gallstones
I genuinely have no idea. But here’s a clue. The surrounding water had the most feint look of an oil slick about it. Under what circumstances the body either stops absorbing fats or (perhaps in this case) starts to expel unprocessed cobs of it? I’m not sure. What I am sure of is that a new chapter in the de-tox is under way.
